About

I am a passionate landscape photographer, always trying to be at the right place and time to capture those magical moments when light and weather transform the subject into a unique composition.

Before the digital era I had been using 120 roll film and 4x5" sheet film, always striving for best image quality. After countless hours spent in the color darkroom without ever being really satisfied with the results, the move to digital was a revelation and the beginning of a much more intense study. In 2006 I attended a workshop on color management, digital post processing and fine-art printing by Bill Atkinson and Charles Cramer, which set the foundation of my printing expertise.

My current photographic tools include a Hasselblad 500 C/M and a Flexbody with PhaseOne IQ180 digital back, 40mm, 80mm and 150mm lenses, supplemented by a Nikon D800E if indicated by weight, speed or focal length range.
